Midweek Manicure – Neon at the Beach

Of course I brought nail polish with me on vacation. Would you expect anything less? I only brought a couple of different colors and a base and top coat, though. Since I didn’t have my usual overflowing plastic storage bins to dig through – full of paint brushes and dotting tools – I just came up with something pretty simple but still not just a plain ol’ manicure.

Sun Worshiper Mani

I used China Glaze Sun Worshiper over a clear base coat to painted diagonally across each nail from the corner of each nail bed leaving an open triangle at the base of each nail. Perfect for beach days under the hot sun!

Happy Wednesday!

Midweek Manicure – Neon Leopard Print

I tend to paint my nails in the middle of the week, so I figure sharing a “midweek-manicure” on Wednesdays would be a good idea. Gonna try it out, see how it feels…

This week it’s my first attempt at leopard print without the normal gold, brown and black colors. Plus, I’m really into neon lately, especially this China Glaze Sun Worshiper color you see in the photo. It’s kind of awesome and I’ll probably be using it a lot. I used that color along with China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy for the spots on top of the base color of China Glaze Refresh Mint. Then I randomly outlined the spots with a nondescript black polish.

In other news, we’ve finally moved back into our house and I’m loving having a new kitchen and bathroom. There is still a TON of unpacking and tidying up to do but it will get done.  Tonight we are tackling the bedroom and laundry room as long as I don’t collapse into a heap on the couch the moment I get home!

Happy Hump Day!
