Cards

Get Well Soon, Again

Happy Friday! Today, I wanted to share another card I made with the same get well soon stamp set, from Lawn Fawn, that I used in my last card making post.

I made this card for a male coworker, and so tried to give it a more masculine feel. I used a lot of brown paper, and used copic markers to color the cute little bird-nurse. The long horizontal panel behind the bird has clear embossed pill bottles on it, that unfortunately did not translate very well in the photos I took with my iphone.

Here’s a partial list of the products I used:

I’m having so much fun making and sending all of these cards. I hope to share some more soon!

Simple Get Well Soon Cards

Recently, I’ve gotten really into card making. I’ve been paper crafting off and on for a while (wedding favor labels, Christmas ornaments, etc.) and I’m lately just really enjoying stamping, coloring and assembling cute cards. While on vacation with my hubby a few weeks ago, I picked up some very cute Lawn Fawn stamps and coordinating dies, and used them to create some get well soon cards that I thought I’d share (one I sent to a church friend who hasn’t been feeling well as of late).

In addition to the stamps and dies, I used an assortment of watercolor paints, distress inks, twine, watercolor paper, cardstock, foam tape and scissors to create the cards. If anyone is interested in a fuller list of supplies, or a step-by-step post, please let me know!
