Midweek Manicure // Deep Blue Sea

Blue nails! Very unlike me.

Blue Nails

This easy ombre mani was inspired by @ninanailedit‘s instagram page. I just love her nail designs. I saw this one on her feed and had to recreate it.

I used:

When painting the glittery Mermaid’s Tale color on my middle finger on each hand, I attempted some glitter placement – that is, using a toothpick or dotting tool to place glitter pieces one at a time – but I just didn’t have the patience for it. Despite my lack of patience, I do love the blue-green sparkle of that polish and am happy with how it came out!

Midweek Manicure // Subtle, Neutral and Matte

Happy Wednesday! Here’s this week’s mani:

neutral matte mani

Super subtle! I used Essie Sand Tropez and then striped Sally Hanson Complete Salon Manicure in the color Nude Now diagonally across. Then I used Essie Mattte About You top coat. I’d been wanting to use the matte top coat for a while, and ended up with something super subtle that I really liked. Hope you like it, too!

Midweek Manicure // Button Up!

I saw this mani and had to create my own version:

Shirt Collar Mani

I started with Sally Hanson Complete Salon Manicure in the color Nude Now. Then I used Nina Ultra Pro  in the color Tangerine Dreams for the collar part of the nails. I used Ulta Chocoholic for the buttons then used a gold striper polish to outline the color.
