Midweek Manicure // Inspired by butter LONDON

This week’s mani was inspired by some photos I saw from butter LONDON for a VEDA fashion show (at NYFW).

While I haven’t yet broken down and bought any of my own butter LONDON polishes (although they have a ton of lovely colors) it was easy to create this mani using my own fall(ish) colors.

Butter London @ VEDA Mani

The base color is Blue La LA by Nina Ultra Pro. I used China Glaze Liquid Leather for the black stripe down the middle. It looked much better than it photographed!

Midweek Manicure // Button Up!

I saw this mani and had to create my own version:

Shirt Collar Mani

I started with Sally Hanson Complete Salon Manicure in the color Nude Now. Then I used Nina Ultra Pro  in the color Tangerine Dreams for the collar part of the nails. I used Ulta Chocoholic for the buttons then used a gold striper polish to outline the color.

Midweek Manicure – Color Blocked Diagonals

I’m really into geometric nail art lately. Triangles, lines, sharp edges.

Diagonal Lines Mani

I used a base coat of Orly Sheer Nude and then painted diagonal blocks of Nina Ultra Pro Punky Purple.  I think I”ll be trying this out with all different contrasting colors!

Happy Hump Day!
