Ninety Years

Last week, my lovely grandmother turned 90 years old. Ninety! Her kids, grand kids and great-grand kids all got together last weekend to celebrate her.

Isn’t she the cutest?! She’s one of the most gentle, kind and caring people I know. She has shared with me her love of flowers and gardening, and her insatiable sweet tooth so this card seemed like a good fit.

I absolutely adore the Happy Day stamp set from Concord & 9th. I stamped out the cake in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with copics. I also stamped out the little flags and made a custom 9-0 cake copper. I popped the image up on some fun foam and adhered it onto a water colored panel.

I finished off the card with some pale pink sequins. I used the Sophisticated Script stamp set (also from Concord & 9th) to customize Grandma’s envelope.
