Lately I’m loving a big, bold sentiment on a card. I’ve been playing around with several Winnie & Walter dies and they do not disappoint!

Cheers Winnie & Walter

For this card, I first stamped the Mini Scenery: Do You See What I See stamp with versamark ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder onto a panel (I used a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die to give the edges some interest). I choose to watercolor the panel with a nice cheery (ha) yellow. Then, I die cut several of In a Word: Cheers Cutaway sentiments and stacked them on top of each other to give the word some dimension. I adhered it to my watercolor panel and mounted the whole thing onto a card base.

I hope everyone is having a cheerful week!

  1. Hi Kimberly, Being a seller on Etsy before 2010 I would not recommend there selling venue. I was on there for 5 years right up to 2010. Since the site has gotten very competitive. I have a couple friends who still sell who have been shop owners as of 2010. They are doing okay, however, they say any shops opening now are struggling with so much competition with rubber stamp making products. I would suggest your own selling site on wordpress or switch to typepad. You seem to be an established blog. I know many who sell this way and do very well. Google reviews on Etsy you can read it for yourself. The older shops are clickish and try to close any new shops that are using the same rubber stamps. Creating your own original stamps is the way to go if you plan on Etsy.
