I hope you’ll forgive the iphone photos, but I wanted to share two variations on this cute card I made a few weeks ago. And if you haven’t noticed from my instagram feed I’ll tell you now that I’m currently obsessed with the Hand Lettered Hello stamps and coordinating dies set from Wplus9. :)
I started with a 3 1/2 x 4 7/8″ card base (4bar size) and die cut a large circle in the front panel. I then stamped the cute fox from the Lawn Fawn Joy to the Woods stamp set on a piece of scrap paper, and colored him in with Copic markers. I die cut him with the coordinating die set and mounted him on the inner panel of the card, inside the open circle, using some foam tape to give him a lot of dimension. I think he’s just so cute!
For the sentiment, I used Hand Lettered Hello die from Wplus9. Instead of using colored paper, I created a custom-colored paper myself by coloring on a piece of white card stock (I used my copics for the orange on the first card, and Lake House dye ink for the blue of the second card). Then, I cut a few more “hellos” from some white card stock, and stacked them on top of each other to give the sentiment some dimension (two white ones underneath the colored hello on top). I adhered it to the front of my card base with some Tombow multi mono liquid glue.
To finish, I stamped “friend” from the stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink underneath the die cut sentiment. I love how the cards turned out!
