This past Sunday, I once again participated in the March of Dimes annual March for Babies event. I’ve spent the last few months fundraising for the event and you can read more about my team and why we walk if you read last year’s post.
The event started in downtown Worcester, at City Hall. The balloon arches were my favorite.
Radar came along for the walk, too. He actually behaved himself the whole time.
Little Man putting his flag in the Garden of Hope for preemies.
A lively bunch. The walk hadn’t even started yet. But they were totally faking so it’s ok.
It took us about an hour to finish the 3 mile walk. We were lucky to have such a beautiful day, too.
And this is Little Man’s way of saying “Thanks for supporting the March for Babies!” :)
I will continue collecting donations for the charity until June 1st, so please visit my site if you’d like to know more and/or if you’d like to donate to our team. And again THANK YOU to those of you who have already donated! We raised over $2,400 dollars this year to support the medicines and technologies sponsored by the March of Dimes, and to prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
